The Begining

To date, the construction of three types of drywall partition are known: Simple (this structure is a single layer of plasterboard and a simple framework); Reinforced (metal frame covered with a double layer of drywall partition on each side); The most powerful designs are a combination of reinforced metal frame and trim with a double layer of drywall partition on each side.


Mount Technology for drywall partition :

Like any other mounted design, technology installation of plasterboard drywall partition has its own concepts and features :

  • Mount the frame only after the preparation of all communications: Spend tube, mount and connect the necessary wiring device (distribution box, sockets, switches, etc.).
  • When installing drywall with double (reinforced) frame must be between the profiles paste special soundproof sealing tape.
  • Using as a base frame made of timber you do not need to use the holes for the screws. Screws for wood do not need them.
  • Pay attention to the fact that the height of the vertical profile (racks) must be less than the height of the ceiling of 10-15 mm.
  • GCR is mounted first on one side, and after all the manipulations outlined below, on the other side of the drywall partition.
  • Electrocable should be placed perpendicular to the studs.
  • Thermal insulation made only after all the work carried out on the installation of electricity supply.
